HDD supported the launch of Husqvarna Construction Equipment Prime series, converting previously hydraulic tools to electric drive. The reduction in weight means that what used to be a two-man job now can be done by one man only. This reduces the cost of construction with approximately the same.

To provide the worker with the same power as with the hydraulic tool, HDD developed a motor using its patented oil and water-cooling system. This resulted in a motor delivering 6kW of power at 9000rpm with a weight of only 3,3 kg. The power-to-weight ratio is unmatched.
